Reflection
Jesus was a teacher. Any teacher can influence young people for life. Teaching is a special job, because it has roots in who we are and who we want to be. It is rooted in desire. Where does this desire come from? Could this desiring be in some way an expression of God with us and within us? Could teaching be our calling/vocation?
Trust in God
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you
Everything passes
God never changes
Patience obtains all
Whoever has God
Wants for nothing
God alone is enough
(St Teresa of Jesus CCC 227)

A prayer for the start of the school day and/ or at the start of each lesson:
This is our school, Let peace dwell here, Let our school be full of contentment, Let love abide here, Love one another, Love of mankind, Love of life itself, And love of God, Let us remember, That, as many hands build a house, So many hearts make a school.
