On the occasion of the Autumn Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes this year , assisted pilgrims receive the support of the Hospitality section of the Sanctuaries , made up of volunteers from all around the world who give freely of their time to assist.
This year the Diocese was privileged to have the assistance of a great grand nephew of St. Bernadette ,Jean Emile Soubirous, who helped assisted pilgrims from the Diocese board their plane on their return to Shannon airport on Sunday last.
