Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock

Annual Killaloe Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine will take place on Sunday 3rd July 2016, sharing with Ferns as we have in previous years.   Led by Rev. Des Hillery.       Ceremonies begin at 2:30pm. For the second year, the diocese in conjunction with Knock Youth Ministry, is trying to include as many young people as possible to add a “Youth Dimension” to the pilgrimage.

Fr. John Slattery RIP

The death has taken place of Fr. John Slattery (Retired PP of Puckane). Fr John was a native of Cloughjordan, Co Tipperary and was a priest of the Diocese of Killaloe for 52 years.

Liturgical Music Programme - Workshop 3

Session 3 of the Developing Liturgical Music Ministry Programme will be held on Saturday, 2nd April.  The Workshop will take place at the Bunratty Castle Hotel from 10.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.  The focus of this day will be on the Liturgy of the Eucharist.   Registration from 9.30 a.m.

Holy Thursday Mass on RTE 1

Killaloe Diocesan Youth Council (KDYC) have been asked by Trócaire to Celebrate Holy Thursday Mass on RTE One Television at 4:40p.m.  The group have been delighted to accept Trócaire’s request.  Fr. Jerry Carey P.P., Doora-Barefield will be the celebrant.
