Here you will find the First Reading from the Prophet Isaiah arranged for reading by two people and the Passion according to St John arranged for reading by three people with the congregation taking up the role of the crowd.

This years Seinn celebration takes place with schools and parish choirs/folk groups throughout the Diocese of Killaloe busy learning a lovely repertoire of music for the night  This is sure to be a fantastic evening of song and celebration. Lenten Scripture Resources - Hearing Happening Hoping 2016

Lent is a graced time for listening to and reflecting on God’s Word, especially on the Sunday Gospels. We are told on the first Sunday of Lent that we do not     ‘live on bread alone’ but on God’s Word.  We are encouraged then to put reflecting on God’s Word at the centre of our Lenten practices. Pope Francis has also asked us to mark this Year of Mercy by contemplating Jesus, the Face of God’s Mercy, especially in the Scriptures.  It’s only by doing this that we will become a Church that can reflect God’s compassion and mercy to others.

Liturgical Music Ministry - Workshop 2

The second session of the Developing Liturgical Music Ministry Programme will be held on Saturday, 30th of January.  The Workshop will take place at the Bunratty Castle Hotel from 10.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.  This time the focus of the day will be on the Liturgy of the Word.
