Pastoral Placement

Michael Geraghty who is a student for the priesthood for the Diocese of Killaloe began his Pastoral Placement in the Diocese this week.

Michael is a native of the Parish of Birr and is in his 4th Year at St. Patrick's College Maynooth. Students spend a year on active pastoral work during their time in formation. During this year part of the week is spent in Maynooth College and part in a parish or other pastoral assignment. Michael will be working in the parish of Ennis until Christmas and after Christmas he will be assigned to the parish of Nenagh. We welcome him and wish him every blessing that he may grow and be strengthened in his vocation during this time.
