On Saturday 31st August two young men made their First Profession as Friars in the Franciscan Order.
The ceremony took place in the Franciscan Friary Ennis when in the presence of Fr Kieran Cronin OFM Vicar Provincial of the Irish Province of the Franciscans Bro Vincent Finnegan OFM from Co Mayo and Bro. David Connolly OFM from Cork made Simple Profession for one year. The two new Friars had just completed their Noviative with the Ennis Community and will now continue their studied in Maynooth for Bro Vincent and at the Franciscan Centre in Canterbury for Bro David. We pray God's Blessing on their vocation and further studies. On Monday 9th September The Franciscan Community in Ennis will welcome three new candidates who will begin their Noviative. Again we pray for all discerning their vocations.
