Reflecting on Baptism

Baptism-logo The Diocese is hosting a day led by theologian and Columban missionary Kathleen Coyle reflecting on the sacrament of Baptism. It is happening on Saturday 18th October at the Inn at Dromoland and runs from 10.30am to 4.00pm.

How are we to understand baptism today? It’s the Sacrament of belonging to the Christian Community – but much more can be said. What about concepts such as original sin? Where did that understanding come from and what can we make of it today? Theologian and Columban Missionary Kathleen Coyle will open up new horizons for us, exploring these and other questions.

Cost €15pp - Light lunch provided

This day is open to anyone interested in updating thinking and theology. It will be especially helpful for those working with baptism, liturgy or sacramental groups. Bookings, (before October 12th) to Maureen Kelly at 087 2890942 or  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
