Safeguarding Vacancy

An opportunity for a highly skilled Training professional has arisen with the National Office for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland. This is a one year fixed term post.

You will be required to manage all aspects of training for the National Board for safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland (NBSCCCI).

This includes:

  • Developing an Annual Programme of Training
  • Designing, Evaluating, and Delivering Training Modules in line with Safeguarding Children: Standards and Guidance Document for the Catholic Church
  • Designing materials in line with Church guidance on vulnerable adults
  • Co-coordinating staff and  volunteers in delivering training at a local level
  • Ensuring the quality and consistency of delivery of training by trainers, certified as National Board Trainers
  • Working with other members of the team to develop and maintain the necessary attitudes, skills and knowledge across the Church to keep children and vulnerable adults safe

You must be committed to creating safe environments for children and vulnerable adults.

You must demonstrate your skills and experience initially through a written CV.

This post will require a Garda Síochána/Access N.I. check
