Cycle Against Suicide 2015

The Killaloe Dioocesan Youth Council (KDYC) are participating in this year's Cycle against Suicide which takes place between April 27 and May 10th. The object of the Event as the cycle reaches towns and villages throughout Ireland is to "break the cycle of suicide on the Island of Ireland".

Grow in Love is the new Religious Education series for primary schools in Ireland. Introducing a new approved curriculum from the Irish Episcopal Conference, over the next four years Grow in Love will replace the Alive-O series, which was first introduced to primary schools in 1996.

Following the installation of Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly as Metropolitan Archbishop of Cashel and Emly on Sunday last the Diocese of Killaloe became vacant. At a meeting of the College of Consultors of the Diocese Fr. Des Hillery, (P.P. Nenagh), was elected as Administrator of the Killaloe Diocese.
