Lent is a graced time for listening to and reflecting on God’s Word, especially on the Sunday Gospels.  This year our Sunday Readings are very rich. The  Gospel of the third, fourth and fifth Sundays, for example, are taken from the Gospel of John and introduce us to some of the great stories of people who came to faith in Jesus, such as the Woman at the Well, the Man Born Blind and the story of Lazarus.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes Bishop Fintan Monahan will lead his first Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes on 26th June. The 61st Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will leave Shannon on Monday 26th June, returning on Saturday 1st July.  The cost this year is still €692 per person sharing and there will be a €10 discount for online booking at www.joewalshtours.ie
