07 October 2016 in Diocesan News |Bishop Fintan Monahan has appointed Fr. Des Hillery, P.P. Nenagh as Vicar General of the Diocese of Killaloe. Fr Hillery who is a native of Milltown Malbay, Co. Clare was educated at St Flannan’s College, Ennis and St Patrick’s College Maynooth.

In response to this, the Diocese has decided to offer two practical workshops, free of charge, where participants can learn this new skill. This initiative will encourage people to take on more responsibility for the communication aspect of parish life.
