25 January 2015 in Diocesan News |Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly has spoken to Beyond Belief about his recent trip to the Holy Land. He speaks about the experience and states that, “The terrible conditions in which tens of thousands of families in Gaza are living are an assault on human dignity.” Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly and Bishop Ray Browne of Kerry were both part of a delegation of European bishops which travelled to the Holy Land from 10-15 January.
10 January 2015 in Diocesan News |The Holy Father Pope Francis today named Archbishop Eugene Nugent as Apostolic Nuncio to Haiti. Born in Gortaderra, Scariff, Co. Clare Archbishop Nugent was ordained as a priest for the Killaloe Diocese on the 9th July 1983.
