At the recent general meeting of the Irish Bishops it was agreed that the beginning of the month of November should be marked with a short Service to dedicate the month of November as a month of Prayer and Remembrance for the Dead and for the Comfort of the Bereaved. This Service is to take place on Sunday 1 November at 3.00pm in cathedrals and churches throughout the country, and people will be invited to participate via webcam and other online media from their homes.
